I had to laugh at today's quote from one of my 2nd grade students, because sometimes the scribble line drawings are very difficult for concrete thinkers, but this student kept trying and all he could find were hills!

Not the first time I heard this one and I am sure not the last. He is right. At home, no permanent markers, but in ART, we use permanent markers. In the past, I have actually had students refuse to use the permanent marker...It's just not allowed!
