"Catch Up" Day and Folder Day!

With Parent/Teacher Conferences less than one week away, students are taking time in art class to finish any incomplete projects and organize their folders for parents to see on the big day. When my students walk into the art room and see the "Catch Up" bottle below, they know that we will not start anything new, but work on anything from our storage drawers or big projects that still need painting.

Today is also "Folder Day", a day to pass back art papers, place in the students' art folders, and maintain this portfolio of all small projects completed in art class. This folder will be shared with parents during conference time.

At the end of the week, Thursday and Friday, the last two days of October, we will be celebrating Rainbow Club Day as our positive reinforcement for good behavior in the art room. See more about that in my next post...
